In 1999 when the Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) came into being with a focus on facilitating Professional Studies, MBICEM decided to get itself affiliated with this University for it realised that its dream of fulfilling the void existing between the industry's demand for Trained Media Professionals and their supply can be suitably bridged only by conducting a three year's programme leading to a degree in Bachelor of Journalism & Mass Communication.
